Software Engineer, C++ - 6 Month Internship Opportunity (High-Frequency Trading)

What you will do

• Design and implement a high-frequency trading platform that collects quotes and trades and disseminates orders to exchanges worldwide.
• Optimize the platform using network programming, systems programming, and advanced low-latency techniques.
• Develop systems for accessing historical market data and running trading simulations.
• Create tools to analyze market data for patterns.
• Build risk-management and performance-tracking tools.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++.
• Knowledge of blockchain, cryptography, cryptocurrency, and DeFi protocols.
• Knowledge of high-throughput systems.
• Brilliant problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong English communication skills for business purposes.

Nice to have

• Prior internship experience with C++ development, preferably in a trading environment.
• Good understanding of the Linux operating system and networking, including TCP/IP and UDP.
• Knowledge of Python and shell scripts.
