Senior Legal Counsel (Consumer Law)

Location: Hybrid work in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania, with two recommended office days per week. Remote work is permitted for up to 90 days per year in the EU, including 21 days globally; non-EU citizens may work remotely worldwide for up to 21 days per year.

Gross monthly salary: €5,175–€7,000 EUR.

What you will do

• Advise product, design, engineering, and business teams on consumer law and regulatory matters from ideation through launch.
• Lead consumer law compliance across the EU, UK, US, and other markets.
• Review product specifications and provide clear, practical positions on complex legal and commercial risks.
• Lead cross-functional legal projects from scoping through delivery.
• Engage with regulators and consumer authorities, including responding to requests.
• Manage external counsel and create guidance, playbooks, and training for product teams.

Requirements

• Extensive in-house legal experience in a technology, e-commerce, or marketplace business.
• Deep knowledge of EU consumer law and experience applying it to digital products.
• Experience leading compliance work across multiple jurisdictions and dealing with regulators or consumer authorities.
• Commercial judgment and confidence advising senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Interest in technology and online marketplaces, with experience working in multicultural, cross-functional teams.

• Experience with UK consumer law.
