Associate Director, Data Analysis Solutions (AI)

Location: USA; hybrid work

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the technical architecture and delivery of cross-functional initiatives from concept through production.
• Architect end-to-end solutions integrating multi-omics data and ML/AI into the company platform.
• Translate immuno-oncology biology into technical requirements and system designs.
• Review data and analytical outputs, perform analyses, prepare reports, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging methods, including biology foundation models, and provide scientific and technical direction.
• Act as the interface between science and technology for internal teams and biopharma partners.

Requirements

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, immunology, genomics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on data science experience after completing the PhD.
• Hands-on experience with bulk or single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics or imaging, or digital pathology.
• Working knowledge of oncology and immunology, plus proficiency in Python’s scientific environment and core bioinformatics tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and agentic coding tools, including Claude Code.
• Evidence of end-to-end technology project ownership, peer-reviewed publications, and cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with biology foundation models in genomics, transcriptomics, or pathology.
• Experience deploying models or analyses into production.
• Experience with multimodal data harmonization and benchmarking.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical or biotechnology partners in translational research, biomarker development, clinical development, or precision medicine.
