Staff / Senior Staff Security Engineer (Logistics Security)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work model with two recommended office days per week. Remote work is possible for up to 90 days per year in the EU, with limited global workation allowances.

Annual gross salary: €121,600–€205,200, excluding 8% holiday pay.

What you will do

• Own the hirify.global Go security roadmap, assess the estate, prioritize real attack paths, and drive risks to closure.
• Secure carrier integrations, locker and PUDO hardware, sorting-facility operational technology, driver and warehouse applications, and electronics verification systems.
• Build hirify.global Go's Security Ops capability covering detection, response, and vulnerability management.
• Embed secure development practices into hirify.global Go engineering and external engineering partnerships.
• Manage third-party security across carriers, hardware vendors, and outsourced engineering providers.
• Maintain the risk register, support mitigation or acceptance decisions, and improve security fluency across engineering.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on security engineering experience across offensive and defensive security, including threat modeling, identifying attack paths, and building or driving fixes.
• Experience building or significantly maturing a security capability.
• Experience building or operating detection and response or security operations for production systems.
• Evidence-led, pragmatic approach focused on attack paths and effective remediation.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup connected with the Amsterdam office.

Nice to have

• Security experience in logistics, supply chain, retail, manufacturing, or environments combining software and physical infrastructure.
• Third-party or supply-chain security experience across multiple external integrations.
• Offensive security background or certifications such as OSCP.
• Cloud-native security experience, including Kubernetes.
