Senior Security Engineer, Corporate Security

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; office attendance three times a week

What you will do

• Own and mature endpoint security across macOS and Windows fleets, including EDR policies, configuration profiles, remediation scripts, staged rollouts, and rollback controls.
• Secure critical SaaS applications such as Google Workspace and Slack through SSPM monitoring, OAuth grant reviews, and configuration drift detection.
• Drive identity security through SSO, phishing-resistant MFA, passkeys, SCIM lifecycle automation, least-privilege access, and zero-trust controls.
• Build and tune SIEM detection rules, triage alerts, and lead incident response from containment through remediation and retrospectives.
• Run endpoint vulnerability assessments, prioritize risks, and manage vendor and third-party security reviews with procurement and legal.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, and People teams, maintain security runbooks and playbooks, mentor engineers, and assess risks from agentic AI tools and browser-based AI assistants.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in enterprise security, corporate IT security, or information security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security tooling, including DLP and EDR platforms such as Cyberhaven, Purview, Varonis, CrowdStrike, or SentinelOne.
• Practical SIEM experience writing detection logic, triaging alerts, and reducing false positives.
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to security incident response.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-first network security, including ZTNA, SASE, or DNS filtering.
• Hands-on Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience for security configuration management.
• Familiarity with SCIM, OIDC, and fine-grained authorization at scale.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Experience in a high-growth global technology company or familiarity with GDPR and related privacy regulations.
