Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with 2 recommended office days per week

Annual gross salary: €96,800–€131,000 EUR, excluding 8% holiday pay

What you will do

• Define and lead product design projects that deliver measurable impact across the marketplace experience.
• Raise the capability of individual contributors through pair work, critique, and direct coaching.
• Influence product managers and engineers to apply design principles in their decisions.
• Set and evolve design standards as the business, technology, and user context change.
• Develop AI-powered approaches to design, prototyping, automation, and team workflows.
• Turn ambiguous signals into investable opportunities and build alignment with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Typically 10+ years of product design experience for consumer-scale digital products.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong taste, judgment, and shipped product impact.
• Hands-on experience using AI for design, prototyping, and automation.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and balance hands-on execution with direction-setting.
• Experience improving how an organisation works, not only what it ships.
• Marketplace experience is strongly preferred.
