Configuration Management Lead (PLM)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv District, Israel; full-time work from the Tel Aviv office

What you will do

• Define the configuration management strategy and improve processes, methodologies, tools, and product lifecycle practices.
• Lead configuration management for complex hardware, electromechanical, and software products.
• Maintain accurate product data, part numbers, revisions, BOMs, and engineering releases in PLM and ERP systems.
• Lead ECO/ECR processes, Change Control Boards, configuration audits, and cross-functional change coordination.
• Manage Approved Parts Lists, Approved Vendor Lists, component obsolescence, availability analysis, alternatives, and mitigation plans.
• Define KPIs and reporting for configuration data quality, product readiness, BOM risk, component availability, and ECO performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and management.
• 5+ years of experience in configuration control, product configuration management, or NPI engineering.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Agile PLM or Arena, plus strong knowledge of ECO processes, BOM management, and PLM.
• Experience with SiliconExpert; Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple interfaces, and a broad systems-level perspective.
• High-level English proficiency and experience leading global, cross-organizational processes.
