HPE Networking System Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with an average requirement of two days per week from an HPE office

What you will do

• Lead the technical presales process for networking opportunities.
• Work with customers, Account Managers, and partners to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design and present end-to-end networking solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Deliver customer presentations, workshops, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Demonstrate network management platforms and associated technologies.
• Support solution design and evaluation while translating technical requirements into business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, systems engineering, network engineering, or solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching and/or datacenter networking.
• Ability to design and communicate complex technical solutions.
• Strong presentation, demonstration, customer-facing, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to support complex sales opportunities.
• Fluent Dutch and English are preferred; English-speaking candidates with strong routing and switching expertise may also be considered.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Juniper technologies.
• Experience with campus, branch, wireless, or switching networks.
• Experience in network design and optimization.
