IT System Administrator (Robotics)

Location: Eindhoven (Strijp-T), Netherlands; onsite

What you will do

• Manage the Windows fleet through Microsoft Intune, including policies, Autopilot onboarding, updates, and security baselines.
• Administer Linux/Ubuntu and macOS devices, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and user access across Jira and Confluence.
• Maintain Proxmox virtualisation, backup systems, ZFS, Synology NAS, and the Fortinet office network.
• Operate monitoring and logging with Zabbix and Grafana, and manage service desk and asset-management workflows.
• Provide first- and second-line support, handle facilities-adjacent IT, and assist with procurement and asset lifecycle management.
• Document and automate recurring work while contributing to security and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• MBO+/HBO degree in IT or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a system administrator or in a comparable role.
• Strong Linux administration experience, especially with Ubuntu.
• Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, plus scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Good spoken and written Dutch and English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fortinet networking equipment, Proxmox or other virtualisation platforms, Intune, endpoint management, or Docker.
• Familiarity with NIS2, the EU Cyber Resilience Act, or ISO 27001.
