Executive Talent Business Partner (AI/ML)

Location: United States; based at the Roblox headquarters in San Mateo, California. Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Base salary: $287,170–$323,030 USD annually, with eligibility for equity compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end executive searches for VP, Director, and high-impact technical leadership roles across AI/ML and emerging technologies.
• Map passive executive talent and engage candidates through AI-driven sourcing platforms, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and confidential referrals.
• Optimize executive recruiting workflows, search operations, confidential pipelines, and status reporting.
• Provide talent market intelligence and compensation benchmarking to C-suite and VP stakeholders.
• Build leadership evaluation frameworks, assessment rubrics, and consensus-building practices for executive hiring committees.
• Use talent analytics, funnel metrics, and predictive sourcing trends to improve hiring strategies and advise on long-term talent acquisition and organization design.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical recruiting in areas such as engineering and machine learning.
• Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders and solving complex recruiting challenges.
• Demonstrated success hiring senior and niche technical talent in competitive markets.
• Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics, identify insights, and inform strategy.
• Startup mentality and willingness to think creatively.
• For US-based roles, certain US visa-related work authorization categories may not be supported, and future H-1B sponsorship may not be available.
