Senior Product Manager (Billing and Marketplaces)

Location: Remote in the United States; listed locations include Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Salary: $175,000–$245,000 for Tier 2 or $195,000–$265,000 for Tier 1, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap, execution, and launches for billing or cloud marketplace capabilities.
• Scope features with engineering and manage delivery from initial definition through launch.
• Improve prepaid commit capabilities, including customer-specific rate cards, contract changes, rollovers, balance visibility, and spend alerts.
• Drive AWS, GCP, and Azure marketplace integrations, including private offers, usage reporting, and subscription linking.
• Improve payment and collections flows, including dunning and delinquency handling.
• Lead billing launches for new products and pricing models with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years owning billing, metering, payments, or commercial platforms for cloud or usage-based products.
• Strong understanding of usage-based pricing, prepaid credits, committed spend contracts, invoicing, tax, multi-currency, and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure marketplaces, including private offers, co-sell, and metering APIs.
• Familiarity with card, invoice, and marketplace payments, dunning, delinquency, and third-party billing platforms such as Stripe.
• Experience independently leading complex projects across Engineering, Finance, Sales, and other go-to-market teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain billing concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience at an infrastructure, database, or developer platform company.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, data pipelines, idempotency, and SQL analysis of billing data.
