Seasonal Audit Senior Associate

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. Hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

What you will do

• Learn client operations, processes, objectives, and risks to enhance financial statement audits.
• Plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits while managing budgets and serving in an in-charge role when needed.
• Communicate engagement expectations and relevant accounting, financial, and regulatory developments to clients.
• Design audit procedures using audit technology and innovation tools, research accounting and auditing matters, and document conclusions.
• Train and supervise audit associates and interns, provide feedback, and manage work across client sites, offices, and remote settings.
• Build technical and professional skills through formal training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of progressive public accounting experience, including in-charge auditing.
• Meet the education requirements for CPA certification in the state of employment.
• Analytical, technical, and auditing skills with proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork, agility, relationship-building skills, and curiosity about automation and digitization tools in auditing or professional services.
