is hiring an accounting professional to support financial reporting, internal controls, international reconciliations, and payment operations.
What you will do
- Prepare quarterly financial summaries and variance analysis reports covering actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Reconcile international expenses, revenue, and expense accounts to the general ledger; investigate discrepancies and prepare adjustments.
- Prepare and execute approved domestic and international payments, including wire transfers and foreign currency transactions.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close through journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain financial control records, provide audit documentation, and respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Identify improvements to reporting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and payment efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and quarterly variance analysis.
- Experience processing payments, wire transfers, and foreign currency transactions.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- At least 5 years of experience supporting multinational organizations or multiple legal entities.
- Experience with multicurrency accounting and global expense reconciliation.
- Familiarity with cash management, banking platforms, and treasury operations.
- Experience supporting external audits and improving accounting processes.
- Bilingual Spanish or French.
