Technical Lead, Software Developer (Java/Python)

What you will do

• Provide strategic technical leadership and ownership for complex software, data, hardware, and process initiatives.
• Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
• Resolve complex systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform challenges.
• Identify technical opportunities and risks and drive their resolution.
• Lead highly complex and strategic projects while coaching team members and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor technical industry trends and apply relevant practices to the organization’s environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of equivalent software development experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on object-oriented software development experience.
• At least 1 year of technical leadership experience, including coaching or mentoring others.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect teams toward common goals.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot or microservices architecture.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments, including AWS and GCP.
• Technical knowledge of ETL/ELT lifecycles.
