Billing Analyst (Remote)

Location: Remote, United States; office location: Oak Brook, Illinois. Relocation is not provided.

Salary: $27.45–$31.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Review client contracts and fee schedules for accuracy, completeness, authorization, pricing, and approved deal alignment.
• Set up fee schedules and billing items in the accounting system and route revenue correctly to general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with Sales, Implementation, Client Services, and Accounting on client setup, billing adjustments, and data corrections.
• Process ad hoc billing requests and verify invoice and revenue posting accuracy.
• Support month-end close by preparing billing reports, reconciling revenue accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.
• Maintain audit-ready billing documentation and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting, billing, or contract administration experience.
• Understanding of billing systems, GL coding, and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
