Business Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Larnaca, Cyprus; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home. Applicants must be eligible or have legal authorization to work in Cyprus.

What you will do

• Develop operational monitoring initiatives, including data requirements, performance baselines, and monitoring thresholds.
• Conduct monthly analyses to identify anomalies, control deficiencies, financial leakage, and operational risks.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and quantify financial and operational impact.
• Prepare monitoring reports and actionable insights for the CEO and business stakeholders.
• Recommend corrective actions, coordinate with business owners, and monitor implementation through resolution.
• Collaborate with Anti-Fraud, BPM, PMO, Payments, and BI/Data teams while automating recurring monitoring and reporting activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in operations analytics, payments, fraud or risk analytics, internal audit, FP&A, or consulting.
• Strong SQL skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
• Fluent English, written and verbal; resumes must be submitted in English.
• Eligibility or legal authorization to work in Cyprus is required.

• Experience in financial services or fintech.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of Python.
