Manager, Product Design (AI)

What you will do

• Hire, manage, coach, and develop a diverse product design team.
• Operationalize AI-assisted design tools and workflows to improve design speed and quality.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape the hirify.global Data Platform strategy.
• Guide team performance, resource allocation, project prioritization, and design process quality.
• Solve complex platform architecture and usability problems using advanced design principles.
• Advocate for human-centered design and mentor designers across the organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of design leadership experience, including developing design talent and scaling team impact.
• 5+ years of product design experience in enterprise software, PaaS, or SaaS environments.
• Experience leading product direction and making decisions based on business impact and user needs.
• Portfolio or case studies demonstrating leadership through complex platform challenges and design strategy.
• Experience working in a remote, globally distributed, and multicultural environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; a bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience designing large-scale platforms involving data streaming, data warehousing, machine learning, or AI applications.
• Hands-on experiments and workflows involving AI-driven design processes.
• Experience driving organizational change and innovation in ambiguous environments.
