Head of Engineering (Blockchain)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: Up to $300,000 per year, plus token allocation and equity

What you will do

• Own the engineering strategy and technical direction of the platform.
• Oversee secure, scalable smart contracts and supporting infrastructure.
• Establish engineering standards for security, reliability, and code quality.
• Lead, hire, and mentor engineers across smart contracts, backend, and infrastructure.
• Partner with the wider business to shape the product roadmap and support growth.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience, including technical leadership or team management.
• Strong experience building and scaling production blockchain or DeFi products.
• Solid understanding of smart contract security and the challenges of building financial products onchain.
• Broad technical knowledge across smart contracts, backend systems, and infrastructure.
• Ability to take ownership in a fast-moving environment and build an engineering function.
• Must be able to work remotely from within the United States.
