What you will do

• Lead highly complex packaging projects, technology platforms, and technical workstreams.
• Shape packaging technology strategy, innovation pipelines, and 5–10-year roadmaps.
• Evaluate packaging technologies, materials, processes, and emerging industry developments.
• Guide packaging development teams on technical feasibility, scientific considerations, quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
• Build relationships with suppliers, research institutions, industry associations, and external technology partners.
• Influence global stakeholders and senior leadership on technology adoption, investment, partnerships, and implementation decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering, Materials Science, Food Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of packaging development experience in a complex, matrix organisation.
• Experience leading complex packaging projects, technology platforms, or innovation programmes.
• Expert knowledge of packaging technologies, materials, processes, and manufacturing systems.
• Strong strategic influencing, executive communication, stakeholder management, judgement, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple regions and coaching packaging professionals.
