Process Engineer (Paper)

Annual base salary: $73,280–$82,440

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing control strategies and process improvement plans for paper production.
• Analyze production trends and implement initiatives that improve productivity, reduce scrap, enhance quality, and improve the work environment.
• Develop capital authorization requests, manage capital projects, and identify applicable manufacturing technologies.
• Apply Six Sigma and Total Quality Management tools while managing multiple improvement projects and supporting plant teams.
• Establish standard work instructions, conduct mill audits, and manage improvement action plans.
• Document mill engineering changes, support maintenance systems, and collaborate with quality teams and customers on paper grades and process controls.

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering, sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, Virginia.
