Project Manager - Equipment (HVAC)

Location: Maitland or Fort Myers, Florida, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; choose the work location on Fridays based on work requirements. The position is office-based and does not require travel to job sites or customers.

Annual base salary: $58,045–$80,640.

What you will do

• Manage commercial equipment projects from initiation through completion, including scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project status reporting.
• Coordinate equipment, controls, services, pricing, material orders, vendor purchase orders, and equipment start-up work orders.
• Review construction schedules, product lead times, project dependencies, milestones, and customer requirements.
• Manage project cash flow through progress billing, collections support, payment approvals, and resource monitoring.
• Resolve scope deviations, freight damage, missing equipment, customer concerns, and corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the transition from warranty to service while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business management preferred, with 3–5 years of project management or construction management experience.
• Financial management and project budgeting experience required.
• Working knowledge of construction, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and temperature controls.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-up, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with Microsoft software and Teams, with the ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
• Ability to work in an office environment Monday through Thursday in Maitland or Fort Myers, Florida.
