Senior Actuarial Analyst (Health Insurance)

Location: New York City office, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursday is required in the office, while the other two office days are flexible.

Salary: $101,844–$133,670 per year, plus eligibility for benefits and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Prepare actuarial models and experience studies supporting pricing for Affordable Care Act markets.
• Review pricing and plan design models, identify performance drivers, and provide actuarial insights.
• Contribute to regulatory filings and develop recommendations for strategic pricing decisions.
• Investigate observed trends and communicate meaningful information to support pricing decisions.
• Shape actuarial best practices related to automation and documentation.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support analyst onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or currently pursuing the designation.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with three days per week in the New York City office.
