Senior Analytics Engineer (Shop Analytics)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid workplace

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for shop performance and retail media partner reporting.
• Build automated reporting solutions based on business stakeholder requirements.
• Enhance revenue attribution models and reporting capabilities for the advertising platform.
• Own data quality across data assets.
• Collaborate with product, technology, and retail media teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization in big-data environments.
• Experience with dbt or comparable data transformation tools and expertise in modeling high-volume event and tracking data.
• Understanding of frontend tracking and web analytics implementation, such as GA4.
• Experience with Dagster or Airflow and cloud-based big-data platforms such as BigQuery or Redshift.
• Ability to work independently, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced BigQuery knowledge, including cost optimization and complex functionality.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Terraform, and containerization with Docker.
