Delivery Manager

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve delivery governance practices across the department.
• Review project health, portfolio performance, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and key delivery metrics.
• Identify portfolio-level risks, manage escalations, and lead recovery planning for challenged projects.
• Establish delivery standards, best practices, quality frameworks, and consistent delivery methodologies.
• Support and mentor Project Managers and facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Engineering Leaders, Resource Managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders on execution and resource planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in project, program, portfolio, or delivery management within the IT industry.
• Previous hands-on technical experience as a Software Engineer or in another technical delivery role.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, engineering challenges, delivery governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects or delivery streams, mentoring delivery professionals, and managing complex escalations.
• Strong portfolio management, analytical, stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Advanced English level required.

Nice to have

• Experience in large-scale distributed delivery organizations.
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and transformation initiatives.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or similar certification.
• Experience in delivery process optimization, operational excellence, or enterprise-scale customer environments.
