What you will do

• Process federal and state tax returns, including e-filing and mailing.
• Manage and track federal and state tax notices.
• Collect and validate tax records and financial data using proprietary software.
• Route tax-related client inquiries to appropriate internal tax team members.
• Provide administrative support to tax team leaders and assist with ad-hoc special projects.
• Collaborate with accounting and compliance teams on tax issues related to company products.

Requirements

• Must have experience supporting the preparation and filing of tax returns and IRS e-filings.
• Strong attention to detail for both written and quantitative documentation.
• Ability to navigate complex tax structures and documentation.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leveraging technology to automate processes and gain efficiencies.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify used).

Nice to have

• Experience with income tax filing software such as GoSystems Tax RS.
