What you will do

• Support the preliminary design and coordination of reusability experiments.
• Design avionics architectures within mission, component, and system constraints.
• Perform preliminary sizing of actuators, instrumentation layouts, harnessing, and avionics interfaces.
• Coordinate with Avionics and GNC specialists on system requirements, capabilities, and instrumentation.
• Develop ground requirements for telemetry and data processing, and contribute to data analysis and documentation.
• Support rapid prototyping and testing activities.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a relevant STEM discipline such as aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• More than one year of experience in high-tech projects related to avionics.
• Experience with avionics system and component layout and design.
• Proficiency with common CAD software such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage tasks with different priorities.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Participation in student groups or amateur engineering competitions such as EuRoC, SAC, or IREC.
• German proficiency.
