IT Network Engineer - Memphis

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Onsite only; hybrid and remote work will not be considered.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of large-scale wired and wireless networks.
• Configure, install, and support campus and data center networking infrastructure.
• Deploy and support network access control using 802.1X.
• Develop network policies, standards, project roadmaps, and network automation tools.
• Monitor network health and maintain accurate network documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another STEM discipline with 2+ years of professional network engineering experience, or 5+ years of professional network engineering experience without a degree.
• Experience with routing, switching, dynamic multicast, Wi-Fi, network access control, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work onsite in Memphis; hybrid and remote work are not available.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Juniper, and Arista switches; Cisco wireless LAN controllers; and BGP routing.
• Knowledge of NAC with 802.1X, fiber optics, Wavelength Division Multiplexing, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, ARP, CDP, and LLDP.
• Linux and Windows system administration experience.
• Python scripting and network monitoring experience.
• CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or JNCIE certification.
