Network Engineer (Juniper/Palo Alto)

Salary: $143,100–$198,300 plus benefits; the range includes salary plus bonus.

What you will do

• Configure, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, data centers, cloud environments, and business applications.
• Design and troubleshoot complex routing and switching environments using Juniper routers and Dell switches.
• Configure Palo Alto firewalls, VPN tunnels, security appliances, and related security controls.
• Support enterprise voice and unified communications infrastructure, including SIP, H.323, codecs, and PSTN gateways.
• Diagnose complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues, identify root causes, and restore service availability.
• Deliver network installations, upgrades, configuration changes, documentation, and technology evaluations in collaboration with internal teams and service providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting and maintaining network infrastructure in cloud or enterprise environments; the posting also lists 7–10 years of experience.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, IP routing, DNS, MPLS, SNMP, SMTP, BGP, EIGRP, VPNs, and SIP.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper routers and Junos OS, Dell network switches, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliances.
• Knowledge of voice networking technologies including SIP, H.323, G.711, G.723, G.729, and PSTN gateways.
• Experience supporting distributed organizations, delivering infrastructure projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and producing technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
