Financial Advisor-CIRO-MFD/AMF

Location: Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada; on-site full-time. The role may require working at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, including evenings and weekends. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional service.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, home ownership, and business needs.
• Develop local sales plans, convert leads, generate opportunities, and grow client referrals.
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and community outreach activities.
• Work flexible banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and support clients across nearby banking centres.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec licensing: current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Strong client engagement, networking, business development, financial advising, investment, lending, and portfolio management skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required.
