Branch Manager (Power Generation)

Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, USA; onsite branch operations with occasional travel and physical equipment duties.

What you will do

• Manage sales, service, rental, and parts operations across the assigned territory.
• Select, coach, and develop employees while managing office personnel and cross-department execution.
• Oversee branch facilities, rental fleets, equipment, and other operational assets.
• Set objectives aligned with company strategy and deliver revenue, operating income, customer satisfaction, and efficiency KPIs.
• Ensure work orders are completed on time, within quoted amounts, and with accurate documentation.
• Maintain ERP reporting and support processes that improve financial and operational performance.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree, BS, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• At least 5 years of operations management experience, preferably in industrial equipment or a similar industry.
• At least 5 years of management experience with direct reports, preferably in service operations.
• Advanced knowledge of power generation parts and service, with mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
• Ability to operate a forklift, handle high-pressure situations, perform basic business calculations, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Business Management.
• Experience as a Technical Supervisor in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in schematics, service documentation, budgets, forecasting models, and general ledgers.
