Principal Technical Manufacturing Architect (Smart Factory)

Location: Remote within the United States; this role is based on the Portland, Oregon pay range and is unavailable in the listed excluded states.

Salary: $155,900–$204,645 per year, depending on experience, skills, background, and location.

What you will do

• Architect and provide subject-matter expertise for INFICON FPS Digital Twin smart factory solutions.
• Design and execute ETL integrations from PROMIS MES, XSite, equipment systems, and manufacturing databases into the FPS Data Warehouse.
• Implement, configure, support, and optimize PROMIS MES in semiconductor fabrication environments.
• Support application upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex system issues.
• Partner with IT, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, and Equipment Engineering stakeholders.
• Drive automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across manufacturing systems and reporting platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 12 years with a master’s degree, 8 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing systems, factory automation, and senior architectural or technical responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with INFICON FPS Digital Twin, factory scheduling systems, manufacturing reporting platforms, and equipment maintenance systems.
• Strong expertise in ETL, data integration, manufacturing databases, data warehouses, database management, and SQL.
• Deep PROMIS MES expertise, including flows, steps, branching, routing logic, parameters, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Must be located in an eligible US state for this remote-eligible role.
