Realty Project Coach (Construction)

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States; based at a home store with frequent travel across surrounding states and other US locations. The role requires being away from home approximately 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time, with travel of up to 1,000 miles from home. Primarily overnight shifts lasting 10–12 hours.

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 annual salary, with possible performance bonuses and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own the execution of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Communicate project plans, changes, obstacles, and operational impacts to key stakeholders.
• Partner with store leadership and supervise hourly associates during project execution.
• Resolve concerns and escalations involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
• Hire, train, mentor, evaluate, and recognize associates while supporting their career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus at least one year of relevant experience, or three years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Relevant experience may include project management, space management, store design, operations, or data analysis.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to supervise and develop associates, lead projects or cross-functional teams, and manage changing business demands.
• Ability to work primarily overnight shifts and travel extensively across the United States.
• Required job training and assessments must be completed successfully.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
