VP, Business Risk & Control Manager - Banking and GTB | SCIB (Banking & Global Transaction Banking)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate supervision arrangements, including meetings, management information, action tracking, and escalation.
• Maintain an integrated view of risks and controls across Banking, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime, and Internal Audit.
• Provide constructive challenge to business and control owners on risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation.
• Oversee control frameworks, risk and control inventories, annual self-assessments, audit findings, compliance actions, and remediation plans.
• Support new products and material business or process changes affecting Banking and Global Transaction Banking.
• Contribute to automation, digitalisation, simplification, improved management information, data quality, and control monitoring.

Requirements

• Extensive Banking and/or Global Transactional Banking experience in a regulated wholesale financial services environment.
• Practical understanding of operational risk management frameworks and tools for identifying and mitigating risk.
• Experience leading small change programmes to time and budget.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong relationship-building, collaboration, influencing, communication, and prioritisation skills.
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Banking and Financial Markets.
• Ability to work from the London office location.
