Third Party Risk Management Belfast Intern 2027-2028 (Fintech)

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom; hybrid working with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Support data collection, analysis, visualization, reporting, and ad hoc third-party risk management projects.
• Gather and analyze data related to regulatory requirements.
• Assist with daily third-party risk management operational activities.
• Maintain information in systems and procedure documentation, and perform system testing.
• Suggest process improvements and support efficiency and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, risk, compliance, information technology, law, business, or a related field, with an industry placement year in 2027–2028.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to understand business and risk concepts quickly and collaborate with people at all organizational levels.
• Experience or skills in automation and AI, including Python coding and Google Gemini.
• Must be local to Belfast and available to work in the office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Google Looker, Archer, Panorays, or Dun & Bradstreet.
• Knowledge of Agile, lean portfolio management, governance, risk and compliance, or risk management software.
• Experience in financial markets and knowledge of derivatives, trade lifecycle, clearing, risk, or post-trade processing.
