Third-Party Risk Management Lead

What you will do

• Own and continuously enhance the enterprise-wide third-party risk management framework, policies, standards, procedures, and target operating model.
• Define and deliver the TPRM strategy, roadmap, and transformation programme.
• Lead outsourcing governance and regulatory compliance across third-party and external supplier services.
• Chair governance forums and oversee emerging risks, material issues, control effectiveness, supplier incidents, service disruptions, and resilience events.
• Establish risk appetite, key risk indicators, management information, and Board-level reporting.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a specialist TPRM team while building relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Procurement, and the wider business.

Requirements

• Significant senior leadership experience in third-party risk management, outsourcing oversight, or operational risk within financial services.
• Proven experience owning enterprise-wide TPRM frameworks, policies, and governance structures.
• Expert knowledge of financial services regulations covering third-party risk and outsourcing.
• Experience overseeing TPRM technology implementation, development, or enhancement.
• Experience managing regulatory reviews, audits, control improvements, and remediation programmes.
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience, with people leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
