Test Engineering Manager (Automotive)

Location: Szekesfehervar, Fejer, Hungary. Hybrid work environment with most office-based roles onsite three days a week.

Salary: Ft 18,000,000–Ft 26,400,000 gross annual base salary.

What you will do

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the Tool Test Rack Development Team.
• Lead the development and deployment of test rack solutions for product reliability and manufacturing requirements.
• Plan and manage projects, budgets, milestones, resources, quality, costs, and deadlines.
• Identify technical risks and coordinate external suppliers, development partners, and internal customers.
• Control the integration of measurement, control, and data acquisition systems.
• Develop test infrastructure, engineering processes, standards, documentation, and compliance practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in the automotive industry, including product quality, product lifecycle, and product development.
• Experience in project management, lean and agile methods, mentoring, and technical knowledge transfer.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially MS Project.
• Business-fluent Hungarian and English; ability to work in national, international, and interdisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing, design-for-manufacturing, electronics, or automotive experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt, data science, simulation, machine learning, or artificial intelligence applications.
