Manufacturing Engineer Traineeship (Automation)

Location: Csömör, Hungary, at the P&G Budapest Plant. Onsite part-time traineeship, 24–40 hours per week.

Starting pay: 887,150 HUF per month.

Procter & Gamble operates an international manufacturing network and produces feminine hygiene products at its automated Csömör plant.

What you will do

• Support, simplify, and develop manufacturing processes using LEAN principles.
• Contribute to waste elimination, business, savings, and technical development projects.
• Support the integration of manufacturing equipment with plant servers and data systems.
• Develop automated data collection systems and analyze production data for losses, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical experts, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Build engineering, project management, and leadership skills through real manufacturing projects.

Requirements

• Final-year student in Engineering, Technical Management, or another STEM BSc/MSc program, or a graduate who completed the degree within the last 12 months.
• Proficient Hungarian and English.
• Availability for 24–40 hours per week.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation, manufacturing IT systems, or production data management.
• Leadership potential and good communication skills.

Nice to have

• Analytical, systematic, process-oriented, and proactive approach.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Python.
• Experience with manufacturing data collection or PLC programming.
• Interest in Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and data-driven process improvement.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and autonomy.
