Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Budapest, Hungary or Billund, Denmark; hybrid schedule with three office days and two remote days per week. Relocation support is not offered.

What you will do

• Support the standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Provide technical guidance for equipment development, design, and construction with external suppliers.
• Develop and maintain digital engineering tools that strengthen manufacturing capabilities.
• Verify, validate, and test process and equipment performance for new product introductions.
• Investigate process variables, tooling, auxiliary equipment, and process parameters to improve product quality.
• Build engineering cases, present findings, and influence stakeholders through evidence-based recommendations.

Requirements

• BSc degree in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
• Experience with assembly processes and production equipment.
• Experience leading investigations, testing, validation, or process verification activities.
• Experience managing engineering changes, equipment improvements, or process optimization initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work in the required hybrid arrangement in Budapest or Billund.

Nice to have

• Experience applying Six Sigma methods to manufacturing or quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience with design-for-manufacturability principles.
