MI Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Maintain Claims management information, Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reporting for operational and business requirements.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis into performance trends, risks, opportunities, anomalies, and root causes.
• Extract, manipulate, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Develop new reports, measures, dashboards, and analytical solutions under the guidance of the Data and Insights Lead.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve the reliability of MI processes.

Requirements

• At least 24 months of experience in MI, data, reporting, business intelligence, or an analytical role would be beneficial.
• Strong experience developing, maintaining, and improving Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience analysing data from multiple sources and identifying trends, anomalies, and performance drivers.
• Understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaboratively with Claims Operations.

Nice to have

• SQL experience, including querying and extracting data.
• Experience with Databricks or another cloud-based data platform.
• Previous experience in insurance, especially Claims or an operational environment.
• Understanding of KPI frameworks, operational performance measures, or customer outcome measures.
