Environmental Health & Safety Co-op (Manufacturing)

Location: Welland, Ontario, Canada; onsite role. The co-op term runs from January 2027 to April 2027.

What you will do

• Perform EHS site inspections, audits, and periodic reviews of EHS files and records.
• Collect, manage, and maintain accurate EHS data, documentation, and confidential records.
• Support EHS continuous improvement projects and the resolution of EHS concerns with cross-functional departments.
• Work with the Welland and Waukesha sites to combine policies.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the EHS department.

Requirements

• Currently completing a program in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work onsite in Welland, Ontario, Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
