Shift Supervisor

Location: On-site in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. The role requires flexibility to work any shift and may include up to 5% domestic or international travel. Relocation is not offered. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents normally residing in Canada and must obtain Controlled Goods clearance.

Expected compensation: CAD 86,344–113,975, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Supervise production and hourly employees, provide coaching, and communicate daily priorities.
• Plan work assignments, coordinate production priorities, and regulate processes to meet daily requirements.
• Monitor production rates, yields, product quality, and operational results.
• Promote a safe working environment through inspections, audits, safety meetings, training, and corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production problems.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen, Lean Management, changeover optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Controlled Goods clearance is mandatory.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident normally residing in Canada.
• High school diploma/GED and at least five years of manufacturing experience, or a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work any shift and serve as the primary plant management representative during off shifts.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, teamwork, and administrative skills.
• Ability to provide valid identification, a residential address, and five years of employment history for clearance.

Nice to have

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement projects and change initiatives.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
