Sr. Manager, Security — Continuous Monitoring v 2.0

Location: Remote - California; candidates in other locations will be considered.

Salary: $182,900–$314,250 USD annual base salary, depending on pay zone, qualifications, and work location. Additional compensation may include a performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the Continuous Monitoring security engineering team.
• Own the roadmap for continuous control measurement across cloud infrastructure, identity, SaaS, and enterprise systems.
• Build production Python automation, data pipelines, and integrations with GRC and security tooling.
• Define control coverage, drift, remediation, freshness, accuracy, and audit-burden metrics.
• Present security posture, control gaps, risk implications, and remediation needs to senior leadership.
• Partner with GRC, Enterprise Security, Product Security, Security Operations, IT, Legal, and Engineering.

Requirements

• 2+ years of management experience leading Engineering or Security Engineering teams.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus 8 years.
• Ability to review Python automation, integration architectures, and production monitoring approaches.
• Strong knowledge of security controls, cloud security, IAM, audit logging, CSPM concepts, and cloud-native security services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or equivalent compliance frameworks.
• Experience building security posture monitoring or compliance automation at scale and communicating across technical, GRC, and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Architecture-level experience with CSPM, SSPM, or GRC automation platforms such as Vanta, Drata, ServiceNow GRC, or Archer.
• Leadership experience with FedRAMP continuous monitoring programs.
• Experience monitoring AI system controls and AI governance frameworks.
• Experience scaling security measurement or compliance engineering functions.
• Security operations, detection engineering, security architecture, front-end development, or CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
