Lead Planning Engineer - Site (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Lead PMC planning, scheduling, and schedule-control activities.
• Review and challenge EPC Contractor baseline and updated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Analyze critical and near-critical paths, float, variances, schedule trends, milestones, and completion forecasts.
• Review recovery, mitigation, and acceleration schedules and assess their achievability.
• Lead or review schedule risk analysis and assess confidence levels for key milestones.
• Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, milestone trackers, management presentations, and coordinate planning and project controls personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university.
• At least 18 years of relevant planning, scheduling, and project controls experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
• At least 5 years as a Lead Planning Engineer or equivalent on mega oil and gas or petrochemical projects valued above USD 4 billion.
• Previous ADNOC PMC experience and PMP certification are mandatory.
• Experience leading planning or project controls teams on major EPC projects; GCC experience is preferred.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills and working knowledge of Deltek Acumen, Primavera Risk Analysis or Safran Risk, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of GCC experience.
