Repair Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Evaluate complex aircraft component repair quotations, validate repair scopes and engineering recommendations, and negotiate price versus quality.
• Assess repair-versus-replacement decisions, alternative repair solutions, and repair strategies.
• Review aircraft maintenance documentation, repair findings, and engineering records to support technically justified decisions.
• Investigate repeat defects, fail-on-fit events, no-fault-found cases, and customer-induced damage, then perform root cause analysis.
• Review repair contracts, PBH/FH entitlements, maintenance performance guarantees, and supplier performance to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Support engineering procedures, governance, automation, and AI-enabled quotation review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification or experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience evaluating complex aircraft component repairs, repair quotations, and maintenance cost optimization.
• Good understanding of AMM, CMM, IPC, SRM, repair schemes, and engineering practices.
• Good understanding of PBH/FH agreements, repair contracts, supplier commitments, and maintenance performance guarantees.
• Strong analytical, technical, commercial judgment, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
