Medical Writer (AI Healthtech)

Location: Hybrid work from the Austin or Barcelona hubs

What you will do

• Produce peer-reviewed publications, white papers, value dossiers, conference materials, and other scientific deliverables.
• Provide medical and scientific input on clinical platform functionalities, including protocol design support, eligibility logic, and endpoint frameworks.
• Partner with Product and Commercial teams to align AI models and workflows with standards of care, clinical guidelines, and regulatory considerations.
• Translate complex clinical and scientific concepts into clear content for sponsors, KOLs, internal teams, and external publications.
• Support advisory boards, scientific conferences, and strategic partner discussions as a scientific representative.
• Help shape the platform's medical and therapeutic direction around real-world drug and device development challenges.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific or clinical background in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field; a medical degree, PharmD, or clinical PhD is required.
• Experience in clinical development, medical affairs, medical writing, scientific communications, or a related pharma or biotech function.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, endpoint selection, and benefit-risk assessment.
• Excellent scientific writing skills with published or client-facing work.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and high integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital health and AI-driven platforms.
• Exposure to multiple therapeutic areas or indications.
• Experience presenting at scientific conferences or serving on advisory boards.
• Hands-on experience with protocols, eligibility criteria, endpoints, or regulatory documents.
