Medical Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain; regular in-person attendance at the Madrid office is expected. Full-time permanent role with travel of up to 25%, including occasional travel to Stockholm and events across Spain.

What you will do

• Lead live product demonstrations for prospective clients and support commercial activity in Spain.
• Design and adapt clinical workflows and templates for different markets and large customers.
• Partner with product, engineering, and commercial teams on customer rollouts and workflow integration.
• Onboard, train, and support clinicians while troubleshooting implementation issues.
• Build templates and prompts to improve the AI assistant and manage clinical safety incidents.
• Represent Tandem at conferences, workshops, and customer events.

Requirements

• Clinical healthcare experience, ideally as a medical doctor in general practice, hospital, or private practice.
• Fluent bilingual communication in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong communication skills with executives, engineers, and frontline clinicians.
• Experience with prompting or large language models, plus a passion for technology and AI.
• Organizational strength, a process-driven mindset, ownership, curiosity, and initiative.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and attend the Madrid office regularly.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthtech, SaaS, consulting, corporate, or startup environments.
• Familiarity with EU clinical safety or digital health regulations.
• Experience with implementation projects or customer rollouts.
