Market Development Specialist (Food Industry Applications)

Location: Must be a current UAE resident; valid UAE driving licence required. Hybrid work with regular travel across the GCC and North Africa.

What you will do

• Identify and develop sales opportunities in industrial food production and processing.
• Plan and deliver product demonstrations, application tests, and Individual Cooking Experience sessions for RoboQbo.
• Build relationships with production managers, R&D managers, food technologists, operations directors, and industrial equipment partners.
• Deliver training on equipment operation, programming, cleaning, maintenance, and production workflow integration.
• Work with service and corporate-chef teams from initial demonstrations through post-sales support.
• Represent RoboQbo at exhibitions, trade fairs, workshops, and customer demonstrations while maintaining CRM activity and opportunity records.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in food-industry application work, technical sales, product demonstrations, or customer-facing roles.
• Background in food production, food technology, culinary applications, or food processing, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with product demonstrations, application testing, customer training, and presenting technical solutions to different stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and build long-term industrial relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English, current UAE residency, and a valid UAE driving licence are essential.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial cooking equipment, food-processing technologies, or professional food-production systems.
• Arabic or another relevant regional language.
