Client/AI Software Engineer Intern

Location: Manchester and Cheshire, United Kingdom; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week

What you will do

• Develop client features and respond to client requests under the guidance of the Feature Development Manager.
• Manage user data and gain practical experience with data architecture for a live-operations game.
• Investigate AI-driven improvements for development processes and code quality.
• Write high-quality, well-implemented code.

Requirements

• Currently studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate Bachelor's degree with a planned placement year; Master's and graduate students are not eligible.
• Available for a full-time, paid 12-month internship starting in July 2027.
• Eligible to work in Manchester without additional visa or relocation support.
• Knowledge of C and Visual Studio Code.
• Knowledge of current AI systems such as Claude and Copilot.
• Understanding of relational databases.
