Thought Leader Liaison (Biotech)

Location: Field-based on the East Coast of the United States, including Jersey City, New Jersey; requires 50–75% travel within the assigned region, including weekends for congresses.

Base salary: $170,000–$230,000 per annum, plus discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute regional engagement strategies for key opinion leaders, emerging thought leaders, professional societies, and advocacy organizations.
• Build trusted relationships and coordinate leadership interactions at medical congresses, society meetings, advisory boards, and field engagements.
• Gather, synthesize, and communicate customer and marketplace insights to support brand strategy, launch readiness, and educational initiatives.
• Support peer-to-peer education and the U.S. Speaker Bureau, including faculty identification, onboarding, training, event support, and program review.
• Contribute customer and stakeholder perspectives to educational content and disease-state education focused on the patient journey.
• Maintain engagement plans, documentation, activity tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and other business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong key opinion leader engagement experience and the ability to generate customer insights that influence strategy.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Employment rights in the United States are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in CNS, psychiatry, neuroscience, or specialty therapeutics.
