Network Engineer (Serbia)

Location: Serbia, Belgrade; remote or hybrid work. Relocation support to Serbia is available.

What you will do

• Administer network equipment across multiple data centers.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on network equipment.
• Handle requests from external and internal clients.
• Participate in network development, new-location connectivity, equipment implementation, and automation projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN principles and dynamic routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF.
• Understanding of L2 networking, including VLANs, xSTP, LACP, and redundancy mechanisms such as VRRP.
• Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting.
• Intermediate English or higher for technical documentation and customer communication.
• Ability to learn, communicate effectively, and analyze large amounts of technical information in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Extreme, Juniper, or Nokia network equipment.
• Knowledge of EVPN or MPLS.
• Network equipment or software vendor certifications.
• Experience in telecom or data center networking.
